Terms, Conditions and Release of Liability
By purchasing a reservation to the Bay Area LDS Mid-Single Adults
Conference Weekend held September 18-20, 2009 in Santa Cruz, you agree
to and accept the following Terms, Conditions and Release of Liability:
1. Refund requests must be made by August 20, 2008. No refunds or exchanges will be honored after August 20. You may transfer or sell your registration to another participant. You must send a message to registration@sfmidsingles.com from the email address that you registered with to let us know of the change, otherwise that person may be denied entrance to the event.
2. Anyone attending this event (hereafter
referred to as the "Registrant") expressly assumes all risk
incidental to this event and agrees that all representatives, employees,
volunteers, agents, vendors, contractors, organizers, officers and directors
of the Bay Area LDS Mid-Single Adults Conference (hereafter referred
to as "MSAE") –including The Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter-day Saints- and its affiliates are released and held harmless
from any and all injuries up to and including death, as well as any damages,
or claims arising from this event and all related activities whether
or not they were officially sanctioned or endorsed by MSAE. MSAE
is not responsible for damage, loss, theft, or claims to personal property. Your
participation in this event and all related activities as a spectator,
volunteer, participant, or attendee is at your own risk.
3. Admission to all venues, activities and
meal services will be based upon the registrant's possession of an
official event bracelet available on opening night
exclusively to pre-registered participants with valid ID showing proof
of their age-related qualification.
4. Registrants alone are responsible for
picking up and possessing through the close of the event
their own identifying official event bracelet. Replacement bracelets
are not and will not be available.
5. No admission to any related event, activity,
venue, meal or beverage service will be given without the presence of the
official event bracelet. Only one venue admission or meal will be
provided per bracelet per event or activity.
6. You will obey at all times during the
conference the standards set forth in the
“For the Strength of Youth” pamphlet
including modesty of apparel, speech and behavior during all
meetings, events and activities held as part of this event weekend. Failure
to do so can result in expulsion from the conference and forfeiture of
any remaining participation in or access to related events.
7. All participants must be unmarried, single
adults between the ages of 27 and 45 years old. Per LDS Church-standards,
separated or divorcing individuals do not qualify for attendance at this
singles event. All divorce decrees must be final prior to the commencement
of this event.
8. Attendees may not use any portion of
this event for advertising, promotion or other trade purposes without the
express written consent of MSAE.
9. By use of this ticket, Registrant consents
to a reasonable search for alcohol, drugs or other prohibited items. No
alcohol, tobacco or illegal drugs will be tolerated or admitted.
10. MSAE reserves the right, without refund
of any portion of the reservation purchase value, to refuse admission to
or eject any person whose conduct is deemed by MSAE to be disorderly, who
uses vulgar or abusive language, or who fails to comply with these and
other rules.
11. Registrant grants permission to MSAE and its
affiliates (and their respective licensees and agents) to use Registrant's
image and/or likeness, actions and statements in connection with any live
or recorded video or photographic display or other transmission exhibition
or reproduction of, or at, the events without further authorization or
compensation. MSAE further reserves the right to use such images
or likenesses for future promotional purposes without notice or compensation
to the Registrant(s).
12. The words, "Mid-Single Adult Conference" and
the logo are trademarks of the Bay Area LDS Mid-Single Adults group. All
rights reserved.
